Class Descriptions

PRANAYAMA & MEDITATION

The first portion of the class will emphasize the posture, the bandhas (locks within the body) and the breath. The second portion we will practice a traditional Pranayama sequence of retentions, alternate nostril breathing and breath extension before finishing in savasana.

REIKI

Unblock, release and heal with a Reiki Session.  Reiki means “universal life force.” Universal life force  is what sustains us and continuously flows through us.  Due to the stress and pressures of everyday life, we can become clouded and affected by life experiences and the environment in which we live.  This ancient healing art which began as a form of meditation, is facilitated by a Reiki attuned practitioner, who places his or her hands on or hovering above different locations on the body.  Through long static holds, life energy is transmitted to clear the blocked energy lines within the person.  Be Touched with Love, Heal Yourself.(Private Session only)

SELF PRACTICE

Remove the distractions and come practice in peace. Open studio hours are available for those who wish to practice on their own without led instruction. A teacher will be present for any questions that arise. Come be in the safe quiet nest and express yourself. $5 drop in donation.

YOGA NIDRA

Yoga nidra is a deliberate, step-by-step relaxation into the deepest state of consciousness.
This ancient, powerful modality is being utilized to heal insomnia, PTSD, addictions, diabetes, cancer. Addressing the root cause of all stress-related issues by dismantling reactive patterns at their origin. Students are guided through this process as they lay comfortably on their back. The duration of transmissions are 20 to 45 minutes in length. Yoga Nidra practice is facilitated at the end of our restorative yoga and yoga classes. Private sessions are available as well.

YOGALUTION WITH REBECCA

Yogalution is the signature class of the studio led by Rebecca. She offers a beginner variation twice a week for those who have just begun their yoga practice. Each class is developed to address the prescriptive needs of her students. Whether you are brand new to the practice, or an avid practitioner, you will leave class having learned something about yourself.  All you have to do is show up and breathe.
