Please bring a mat, a towel and a bottle of water.

What do I do if I don’t have a mat?

If you forget your mat or towel you can rent one for $2.

What do I wear?

Wear clean, form fitting clothing, so you don’t have to worry about adjusting yourself during your practice.  Please exercise good judgment and not wear revealing clothing.

What if I’m not ‘good’ at yoga?

There is no ‘good’ or ‘bad’ in yoga. Yoga is there to meet you right where you are. It does not matter if you are flexible or not. Our teachers are trained to help you and create a practice you can participate in, without feeling defeated.

Are there any rules I should know about?

Yes, there are.

  • Please remove your shoes outside of the studio.
  • Please turn your phone off and leave it with your belongings before entering the room.
  • Please refrain from talking during class, breathe instead.
  • Personal hygiene is vital when attending a yoga class. While showering and applying deodorant is a must, please refrain from spritzing yourself with perfume or cologne before class.
  • This studio is first come first serve, there is no space saving allowed.
  • There is a no gossip policy in the studio. We accept everyone at all times.
  • We ask that you do not deviate from the practice being led unless the teacher gives permission for a yoga recess.
  • At Yoglaution, we want everyone to feel included and safe, therefore, the number one rule is—Be Kind.  Say hello to your neighbor and help them feel welcomed.

What if I’m late or I have to leave early?

If you are more than five minutes late, please do not enter the room. If you need to leave early, please inform Rebecca before class and leave as quietly as possible.

What if I become emotional during class? What should I do?

Allow yourself to feel whatever comes up. This is what the yoga practice is for, to release. Cry, it’s good for you, it’s your heart’s way of sweating.

Where should I direct my cancellations, comments, concerns, and/or words of gratitude?

Please feel free to email Rebecca at any time via email
